Want to automatically copy your Garmin Connect activities to RunKeeper and/or Strava? Then Garmin Sync is a service for you!
Simply specify an ID of one of your activities on Garmin Connect and authorize GarminSync to publish to your RunKeeper/Strava account once. Using the ID this activity, GarminSync is able to find all your exiting and new activities on Garmin Connect and copy them to RunKeeper/Strava automatically. New activies are copied within 15 minutes.
Note that you do not have to provide your password for Garmin Connect, Strava or RunKeeper in order to use GarminSync. You only authorize GarminSync to publish activities to your RunKeeper/Strava account.
For existing users that use GarminSync to copy to Strava: If you signed up for copying of new activities to Strava before May 3rd 2013, the please sign up again in order to keep your subscription active. Read the FAQ "Why do I have to redo the setup for Strava?" for an explanation first.
Provide the ID of one of your recent activities on Garmin Connect and authorize Garmin Connect Sync to publish activities on RunKeeper using the "Connect to RunKeeper" button. To find the ID of one of your activities, go to the details page of one of your activities on Garmin Connect and check the URL. The ID is the long number at the end of the URL.
For example, in the
screenshot on the left the ID is 223994035. Using this ID GarminSync is able to determine where to
find your new activities.
Note: This activity is only used to determine where to find your activities on Garmin Connect. After you completed the signup for Garmin Sync all newly uploaded activities to Garmin Connect will be copied. If you (also) want to copy activities that are already on Garmin Connect, then use the "Bulk copy" feature.
Provide the ID of one of your recent activities on Garmin Connect, the period to be copied, and authorize Garmin Connect Sync to publish activities on RunKeeper using the "Connect to RunKeeper" button. All activities found on Garmin Connect within the specified period will be copied to RunKeeper.
